This apartment is situated above a bar, a pyshcic reader (of questionable moral and ethical behavior) and another apartment. Upon inspection by housing authorities I think the building would likely be condemned. Structurally its far gone and long neglected. The gypsies on the second floor are complete savages. They have tried to grift money from me on several occasions. I think they have about 9 people living in the 1 bedroom apartment. They insist on leaving the buildings front door open 24/7. This had led to a great deal of late night run ins with homeless people and crack heads using the hallway as shelter. On the first floor lives the bar "The KB 140 Club". This is perhaps NYC's worst bar. The clientèle is primarily middle aged folks looking to get down and dirty. Problem is they are already down and out and most certainly dirty. Thursday to Saturday nights are promoted by a pimp and the front of the building is congested with ex cons and prostitutes. As you can imagine it is the perfect place for a psychic reader or a bail bonds man. Around 3am the bar empties out in to an eruption of fights and brawls. The police are often called in twice a night. Since I've lived her there have been 2 stabbings and 2 shoot outs. For a normal person this apartment will inspire the emotion "I hate my life". If your in to kicking a crack head out of your hall way, banging a cheap hooker to the pulsating sounds of the gap band playing below, or arguing with a toothless Gypsie for stealing your mail ..... well my friend have I got the apartment for you.
