Apt #2

The place is in a great location, a block and a half from Ft Greene park.

That's the only good thing I can say about this apartment. It's small, the hallway stinks because of the owner's pets, and there are hardly any electrical outlets.

The owner is an old lady who never answers the door and her grandson is impossible to reach. She feeds stray cats in the backyard so good luck trying to get any sleep with all the cats outside your window fighting all night.

The place is an old rooming house. The rent is $1700 a month and I paid a broker to find it for me. What can I say, it's a crappy place but I was in a bind when I signed the lease.

Great location, crappy apartment. On the bright side, there is no cockroach or mouse infestation so I guess it could be worse.

Oh yeah I should also mention that the hot water turns cold 10 minutes in to every shower. And when I moved in I had to wait 3 weeks for a water pipe to fixed before I could use the kitchen sink.

Bottom line is that it's an old building and needs repairs.
